Please Note: These goals originally appeared as a blog post, but I thought it might be helpful to include them as a static page as well.

Our Goals for 2008:

1. 100 Backpacks hand delivered to the children of Terrazas, TJ, Mexico. (cost = 10.80 + taxes = 12.25 per bag)… Our plan is to Partner with Duncan Christian School in having the bags filled with practical gifts, and then the o8 team to TJ (of which I am proud to be a teacher chaperone) will deliver them.

In september o8, we delivered 47 bags – amazing!

2. Funding one house build for a family that needs it in Terrazas, TJ. (cost from the ground up = $5500)… we’re hoping to raise the money, and have a student team from DCS do the build on their trip to TJ in Sept. o8.

3. 20 Fairly traded soccer balls to hand deliver to the children of Terrazas and ‘The River’ (cost with shipping= 12.oo per ball). We will send these along with the gr.12 students from DCS in Sept. o8.
