Why all the Web 2.o freebies?
It’s pretty simple… We’re taking advantage of all the free web 2.o gadgets (the wordpress blog, flickr, facebook & possibly more to come) because of the fact that they are free and effective. For example: pop ‘cameras with a conscience’ into google, and we hit the top. Some people pay for that kind of ranking…We don’t want to throw money at advertising and net-presence when we can do just as good on free sites.
Translation: Money goes to where we want it to – the people who need it, not into slick campaigns and websites…
